Lord Jesus,
Take away my unwilling heart, create a bond servant heart within me. A rebellious mind and act You despise, but life of full surrender You desire. May it be the last for me, so that I can start anew with You. Oh Lord, please forgive my sin of disbelief and fear and filth. I long to walk with You, each step with Your Spirit as my ultimate Guide. Withholding nothing, regretting nothing. Giving it all, for the One who is my all in all. Let You be my vision, now and always.
In Jesus' precious name I pray, Amen.
Hi Viola ... thank you for dropping by my site. It's always a pleasure to get to know another sister (I presume that u are a sister) in the Lord, who is much in love with Him. I feel at home here on your site. Could I please put this site's link on mine? Thank you in advance, but I'll first wait for your permission ^_^.
ReplyDeleteThe truly spiritual man is indeed something of an oddity. He lives not for himself but to promote the interests of Another. He seeks to persuade people to give all to his Lord and asks no portion or share for himself. He delights not to be honored but to see his Savior glorified in the eyes of men. His joy is to see his Lord promoted and himself neglected. He finds few who care to talk about that which is the supreme object of his interest, so he is often silent and preoccupied in the midst of noisy religious shoptalk. For this he earns the reputation of being dull and overserious, so he is avoided and the gulf between him and society widens. He searches for friends upon whose garments he can detect the smell of myrrh and aloes and cassia out of the ivory palaces, and finding few or none, he, like Mary of old, keeps these things in his heart.
